From Ghostfinn Rod to Element Rod

Two quests in order, the stats both rods share across guides, and where Diamond Rod sits now.

Step 1. Ghostfinn Rod (Deep Sea Quest)

Buy Diving Gear for 75,000 Coins, then dive at Lost Isle to start the Deep Sea Quest. The quest asks for 300 Rare or Epic fish in the Treasure Room, 3 Mythic and 1 Secret at the Sisyphus Statue, and 1,000,000 Coins earned.

Step 2. Element Quest

You must own the Ghostfinn Rod first. Then:

  1. Catch 1 Secret fish at Ancient Jungle
  2. Catch 1 Secret fish at Sacred Temple
  3. Create 3 Transcended Stones

To make a Transcended Stone, give a Secret-rarity fish to the Temple Guardian (1 fish → 1 stone). Sources name the hand-in spot differently, so follow the quest marker.

Diamond Rod now ranks above Element. Older "best rod" pages that stop at Element are out of date.

Quest markers and spot names differ by source, so trust the in-game tracker over any written map.

FAQ

Do I need the Ghostfinn Rod before Element?
Yes. Every 2026 source we checked lists owning Ghostfinn as a prerequisite.
Is there a level gate for Transcended Stones?
Level 200 (per IGN · 2026-01-28). Other guides don't state a level, so confirm in-game.
Is Element still the top rod?
No. Diamond Rod lists 1,300% Luck and now ranks above Element.
