Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-09
This privacy policy describes how Fish It! Wiki ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you visit this website.
Information We Collect
Fish It! Wiki is a static website. We do not require you to create an account or submit personal information. We do not directly collect or store personal data.
Third-Party Services
Some pages show ads, labeled Sponsored. We don't add analytics or tracking scripts of our own. Three outside services are involved:
- Adsterra: our ad network. When an ad loads, Adsterra's ad servers may use cookies and pixel tags to choose and measure the ads you see. See Adsterra's privacy policy and Adsterra's cookies policy.
- Cloudflare: our hosting provider. It processes basic request data, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the site and keep it secure. Cloudflare also adds its Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies.
- YouTube videos: the video covers on our pages are our own images, so nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. The player then loads from youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode), and YouTube's privacy policy applies from that point.
Cookies and Local Storage
We don't set cookies ourselves, but Adsterra may set cookies when an ad loads. To stop or remove them, block or clear cookies in your browser settings.
Your browser's local storage also keeps a few settings on your device: your light or dark theme, whether you've answered "Was this helpful?" on a page, and the inputs you save in the Rod Compare tool. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes them.
Children's Privacy
Fish It! Wiki is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
